Having a meeting or conversation with your spouse to figure things out and get on the same page (with topics like finances, education plans for the kids, how to tackle homework projects, how to manage the household, etc.) can sometimes feel daunting and not lead to the best outcomes. Do you long to have productive conversations with your spouse?
For you and your marriage, how successful are those meetings? Are you often frustrated with the conversations and the results?
While watching the season finale of Ted Lasso I got incredibly inspired… the team had their championship game and instead of the typical pre-game speech, the coaches did something radically different that achieved incredible and new results!
The coaches’ approach to this speech got me thinking about my marriage and how I can take what they did and apply to my own meetings with my spouse so I too can get different results.
Want to see the clips from Ted Lasso and hear about the new approach? Watch this week’s episode titled, “The Most Surprising Relationship Tips from Ted Lasso.”
How are you risking in the conversations with your spouse and trying something new? I’d love to hear about it. Head over to today’s YouTube episode and leave a comment!
